- Install, show support and dismantle
Stalls for plastics and polymers exhibitors
Visitors at Plastindia come to compare products and meet suppliers. We design stalls with clear product zones, demo space and meeting areas so your team can turn footfall into leads.
Book early
Large shows fill the best builders' calendars months ahead. Starting your design 8–12 weeks before the show leaves time for approvals and a stress-free build.
Please check show dates and venue
Show dates and venues can change between editions. Always confirm the current edition's dates and hall with the organiser; we plan the build around them.
The cost components of a Delhi stand
Two things set the cost of a Delhi stand before any design decision is made: how many square metres you have booked and how many of its sides are open. Everything after that — construction method, graphics, lighting, flooring, AV — adjusts the figure rather than setting it.
The published band for custom fabrication is ₹9,000–₹18,000 per sq.m, which puts a 18 sq.m stand between ₹1,62,000 and ₹3,24,000 for structure, graphics and lighting. System-built modular and octanorm stands cost less per square metre; a shell scheme upgrade costs least of all.
- Stall area in sq.m — the single largest factor
- Number of open sides and overall height
- Custom joinery versus modular or octanorm system
- Graphic area and print finish
- Lighting count, LED walls and screen hire
- Flooring type and platform build-up
- Transport distance and installation crew size
- Build-up window, and whether night shifts are required
Venues and logistics in Delhi
Of the 19 Delhi venues we cover, 8 are named exhibition venues — Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), Yashobhoomi – India International Convention & Expo Centre and NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla among them — and 11 are venue categories: ballrooms, convention and banquet halls, open grounds, atriums, campus and association halls. Which one you are in matters more to the build than the stall size does, because height limits, rigging rules, access routes and power all change with the room.
Build-up in Delhi usually runs on the organiser's schedule rather than yours, and the practical constraint is access: one loading bay shared by every exhibitor, a lift queue, and a hard stop when the hall closes. We pre-assemble in the workshop and number every panel so our time on site is assembly, not fabrication.
How to bring the cost down in Delhi
Four changes reliably reduce cost without making a stand look cheap: reuse a modular frame across shows, reduce the design to one strong message instead of five competing ones, rent furniture rather than build it, and book early enough to avoid rush charges and night-shift labour.
Lighting is the one line worth protecting. Hall lighting is designed for circulation, not for your product, so a stand without its own lighting reads as unfinished however good the joinery is.
- Reuse a modular structure across multiple shows
- One strong message instead of several competing ones
- Rent furniture and planters rather than fabricating them
- Book early — rush charges and night shifts are avoidable costs
- Upgrade a shell scheme instead of building raw space, for small stands
- Keep graphics on fabric, which reprints cheaply for the next edition
Getting an exact figure for your Delhi show
Send the stand size, the number of open sides, the show name and dates, and two or three reference images. That is enough for a concept and an itemised quote, usually within 24 hours. The cheapest quote in Delhi is usually the one with the most left out. Compare line by line — structure, graphics, lighting, flooring, furniture, transport, installation, dismantle and taxes — because a lump sum hides which of those you are about to pay for twice.
Stall sizes, staffing and lead time
The table below uses the same arithmetic as our stall planner, so a number here and a number from the tool will agree. Storage takes 10% of the area up to 18 sq.m and 15% above it, a meeting corner takes 5% unless you are hosting meetings, and display takes the remainder.
Space, staffing and lead time by stall size
| Stall size | Footprint | Likely layout | Display | Staff | Visitors at once | Build weeks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 9 sq.m | 3 × 3 m | Inline or corner | 7.6 sq.m | 2 | 3 | 3 |
| 18 sq.m | 3 × 6 m | Inline or corner | 15.3 sq.m | 2 | 6 | 3 |
| 36 sq.m | 6 × 6 m | Corner or three-side open | 28.8 sq.m | 4 | 11 | 4 |
| 54 sq.m | 6 × 9 m | Corner or three-side open | 43.2 sq.m | 6 | 17 | 5 |
| 72 sq.m | 6 × 12 m | Three-side open or island | 57.6 sq.m | 8 | 23 | 5 |
Custom stalls typically run ₹9,000–₹18,000 per sq.m for the build. Modular and octanorm construction costs less, and an upgraded shell scheme less again.
