What an agriculture stand has to do

Agricultural shows are often outdoor, which changes everything. Ground levelling, weather protection, dust and generator power become the build, and the equipment on display is large, heavy and driven into position.

The audience is practical and arrives in numbers. Signage has to be readable from a distance across an open ground, and the stand has to tolerate a great deal of foot traffic in dusty conditions.

Why agriculture stands are harder than they look

Every sector has a handful of constraints that decide the design before anyone discusses how it should look. For agriculture exhibitors these are the ones that matter, and they are worth settling in the brief rather than in the workshop.

  • Uneven ground requiring levelling and platform build-up
  • Weather protection, dust and drainage on open sites
  • Driving large machinery into position and out again
  • Generator power rather than house supply
  • Signage legible across an open ground, not a corridor

What we build into an agriculture stand

These are the features agriculture buyers expect to find, drawn from what the sector's shows actually demand rather than from a generic stand specification.

  • Levelled, raised platform flooring over uneven ground
  • Hangar, tent or canopy cover sized to the display
  • Vehicle access and turning space for machinery movement
  • Generator power with distribution and a backup path
  • Tall, high-contrast signage readable from across the ground
  • Shade and seating — practical hospitality in open-air conditions

How we divide the floor for agriculture

Floor area is the scarcest thing on any stand, and the split between display, demonstration, meeting and storage is a sector decision long before it is an aesthetic one. For agriculture the usual division looks like this.

Agriculture stand zones

ZoneWhat it is for
Machinery displayLevelled, accessible positions with turning space
Covered demonstration areaShaded space where equipment is explained
Dealer meeting areaSeated and shaded, for commercial conversation
HospitalityWater and shade, which keep visitors on stand in the heat

Space, staffing and lead time by stall size

Same formula as our stall planner: storage 10% of area up to 18 sq.m and 15% above, meeting space 5% unless you are hosting meetings, display takes the remainder, staff = area ÷ 9.

Materials and finishes we specify

Material choice on an agriculture stand is driven by what the stand has to survive and what the product has to look like next to it.

  • Raised timber or steel platform decking over levelled ground
  • Tent, hangar and tensile fabric cover with wind bracing
  • Weather-resistant vinyl and mesh graphics
  • Industrial flooring that tolerates mud and dust
  • High-output flood and area lighting on generator supply

FAQ

Agriculture stalls: FAQ

What makes a good agriculture exhibition stall?+

Levelled, raised platform flooring over uneven ground, Hangar, tent or canopy cover sized to the display, Vehicle access and turning space for machinery movement — in that order of priority. Agriculture stands are judged on dealer and farmer enquiries, so visibility across an open ground matters more than interior finish.

How much does an agriculture stall cost?+

Custom stalls typically run ₹9,000–₹18,000 per sq.m for the build, depending on finishes, lighting and AV. Sector-specific requirements — load-rated platforms, closed meeting rooms, refrigeration, secure showcases — are quoted on their own lines.

How early should we brief for an agriculture show?+

Four to six weeks for a standard custom stand, and eight weeks or more where the stand needs structural engineering, closed meeting rooms, services such as water and drainage, or organiser approvals beyond the usual set.

Do you understand our sector's compliance requirements?+

We build to the specification your regulatory, security or technical team approves, and we raise the organiser and venue requirements that affect the layout early. We do not advise on the content of regulated claims.

Can you deliver agriculture stalls across several cities?+

Yes. We cover 119 cities with the same workshops and project managers, and a modular build can travel between shows so the cost per edition falls after the first build.

Is 3D design included?+

Yes, free with every confirmed fabrication order and revised until you approve it.
